Chateau Mcely was established with the goal of creating a place where one could soak up the elixir of life from an infinite wellspring. Our guests come here to relax and refresh, to connect to the magic that flows through the surrounding countryside, and most of all, to listen to their own souls - to those messages that we don't pay quite enough attention to.

Without you, Chateau Mcely would be nothing like it is today. We wouldn't have anyone to offer joy to, to take care of, to be the reason we built this fairytale chateau. We deeply appreciate your devotion and love. Thank you!

Tourism Grand Prize
Chateau Mcely took third place in the prestigious Tourism Grand Prize in the Sustainable Project category with the title "On the road to a green view". As part of the awards’ 16th year, the most significant achievements in the field of tourism in the Czech Republic were recognized.

Three Golden Lions
Piano Nobile successfully maintained its highest Three Golden Lion rating and is yet again ranked among the best restaurants in the Czech Republic for the 2023 season.
Absolute Winner of Amazing Places 2022!
Chateau Mcely has racked up another prestigious award, coming out on top in all categories of the Amazing Places competition to become the Absolute Winner for 2022. The weekly magazine Euro published an interview with Vlastimil Plch, founding CEO of Chateau Mcely, in its special issue Top Amazing Places 2022 / 2023. Three Golden Lions and the 7th Best Chef in the Country
Piano Nobile defended its three Golden Lions, once again ranking it among the 22 best restaurants in the Czech Republic for the 2020 season. In addition, Honza Štěrba was ranked among the ten best chefs in the country.
5th Best Restaurant - Maurer’s Guide
The chateau's restaurant, Piano Nobile, earned a symbolic 5th place plate from Maurer’s Grand Restaurant Guide, once again ranking it among the top 10 restaurants in the Czech Republic in 2020.

Executive Director Ing. Vlastimil Plch, who has been at Chateau Mcely from the very beginning, received the "Green Manager of the Year" award from the Association of Hotels and Restaurants of the Czech Republic for his exemplary approach to hotel operations with regards to ecology.
Best Experiential Photograph
Small Luxury Hotels of the World Award for "Best Experiential Photograph". Chateau Mcely won an international competition from among the more than 70 countries and 480 hotels of the SLH network.

World's Leading Green Hotel
Awarded at the 2008 World Travel Awards, tourism's “Oscars”, in the Green Hotels category.
2007
Green Hotel
Chateau Mcely becomes the only five-star "green" and eco-chic hotel in the Czech Republic and the second in Europe, with the highest green certification in the European Union.

Chateau Mcely won the highest award in the prestigious competition "Best of Realty 2006" in the hotel category for the sensitive reconstruction of the dilapidated chateau.
